THIRSTY EXT. DESERT TRACK HOT DAY Kulahun is walking along the desert track/Desert Landscape, tired, exhausted and thirsty. He is wearing a magnificant blue hat with a shinny bead at the end which makes a sound as he moves. The brim of the hat protects his face from the blistering sun. He puts one foot in front of the next across the seemingly endless sand dunes. He stops wipes his forehead, rummages through his bag and takes a swing of his water bottle. He is waiting to feel the water pouring down his throat but there is no water. He opens one eye to see what's going on. He holds the water bottle out in front of him and turns it upside down, a single drop falls away and burns up onto the sand. Kulahun hunches over, depressed. Suddenly there is the sound of bubbling water. Kulahun looks up and around for the source of water but before he can locate the source of the sound the wind picks up and blows  sand into his face and drowns out the sound of the bubbling water. He doubles over cringing. After a moment he opens his eyes with his hand in front of his face to protect his eyes from the flying sand he starts to walk on. ATTACK #1 EXT. VILLAGE RUINS ENTRANCE DAY Shot of a a dark evil looking castle ruins with a figure in one of the towers. ZAG is watching Kulahun from the distance. He raises a telescope to one eye to see who it is. He sees Kulahun's face without much interest, he scans around and is surprised to see Kulahun's hat. He puts the telescope down in amazement as if he had seen something very valuable. After a moment of scheming, he smiles an evil smile and then turns, crouching as if to jump and then morphing into a crow in mid air landing on the ledge of the tower. Zag(as a crow) pauses for a moment before flying towards Kulahun. When Zag is above Kulahun, he dives and grabs Kulahun's hat in his beak and tries to pull it off. The hat almost comes off but the string of the hat is around Kulahun's head which stops Zag flying off with the hat. Kulahun realizes what is happening and grabs the hat and there is a momentary tug of war but Kulahun is too strong for the crow and it lets go of the hat. Kulahun warily watches as the crow flies out of sight and then he keeps on walking. WATER PUMP EXT. VILLAGE RUINS DAY Kulahun walks for some time getting more and more tired. He is almost crawling when he looks up and is surprised. Shot of a water pump in the distance amongst some broken houses. Kulahun spots a water pump and rushes madly to it. He excitedly pumps the handle, holding his other hand under the spout, but nothing comes out. He looks at the spout for a moment before pumping the handle again but still no water comes out he lowers his hand. The crow stealthily flies in and sits on a broken wall a little distance away and watches. Kulahun looks angrily at the spout of the water pump for a moment and then pumps the handle a couple of times really quickly. Still no water. The crow who has been watching from the distance flies away further ahead before landing and morphing back into the human Zag. He picks up a hand full of sand and as he lets the sand slowly fall on the ground a street stall starts to appear. The stall has water bottles, glasses and water jugs. The stall advertises water. Zag starts to push the drinks stall forward. DRINKS STALL EXT. AFTERNOON Kulahun is at the water pump, exhausted and with a look of resignation. He sighs and turns away from the water pump when suddenly there is the sound of bubbling water again. He looks up in surprise, looks at the water pump but there is no water there, he looks around trying to find the source of the sound when suddenly the sound of bubbling water is drowned out by the sound of a bell. Zag is pushing his drinks stall through the ruins of the village, ringing his bell to attract customers. Kulahun blinks in disbelief then rushes towards the drinks stall in desperation. Zag stops the stall and wickedly smiles as he sees Kulahun coming towards the stall. He grabs a hand full of sand and conjures up a glass of water before Kulahun has arrived. Kulahun arrives and eagerly eyes the glass of water with ice cubes in it that Zag has on offer. Kulahun is about to pick the glass of water up when Zag snatches it away from him and extends his open hand asking for money. Kulahun rummages through his pockets but he has no money and he indicates that to Zag. Zag slyly smiles and points to Kulahun's hat. Kulahun looks up at the hat and then at the glass of water for a moment. He reaches for his hat and takes it off. As he takes the hat off the sound of bubbling water can be heard softly. Kulahun hears the sound and looks at the hat. Zag who wants to make the exchange quickly sees Kulahun's sudden curiosity in the hat and picks up the glass of water and starts to jiggle it in front of Kulahun's face drowning out the sound of the bubbling water from the hat. Kulahun is distracted by the jingling of the ice cubes and looks at the tempting glass of water in Zag's hand. He gives in to the temptation and starts to hand over the hat when the bead catches the light and flashes into Kulahun's eyes. He looks closely at the bead. He sees a reflection of Zag in the shiny bead at the end of the beanie, the reflection morphs into a crow. He glances up and Zag is smiling at him. He looks down again and the reflection in the bead is of the crow. He looks up at Zag suspiciously and Zag's grimace suddenly disappears and he snatches the hat. Kulahun yanks back his hat but Zag is holding on tight. There is an intense struggle but finally Kulahun gives a great heave and pulls Zag into the drink stall causing the stall to fall over and with it Zag. As the drink stall falls over on top of Zag it changes back into sand. ZAG DEATH EXT. DESERT AFTERNOON Zag gets up from the mound of sand and jumps into the air morphing into the crow and flies after Kulahun. Zag catches up with Kulahun and dives for him from behind, cuts Kulahun's face which causes him to trip and fall on the ground, his hat comes off and falls on the ground. Kulahun's eyes are closed in pain. The crow is circling above and then starts to dive down faster and faster. Kulahun looks up and sees the crow diving for the hat, he snatches it out of the way in the last moment, revealing the rock underneath it. The crow sees the rock but it is too late to change direction and slams into the rock head first. It skids to a stop it's leg twitching every now and then. The corpse then changes into sand and disappears. OTHER WORLD EXT. DAY Kulahun with his hat in his hand looks perplexed at where the dead crow was. He then looks at the hat, there is a soft sound of bubbling water, he brings his ear next to it, the sound of bubbling water gets louder. He looks inside the hat and something seems to stir in there. He puts his hand into the hat and is surprised by what he feels. He takes his hand out and drops of water are falling from his hand. He is amazed. He looks at the hat with wonder for a moment. He then lays the hat on the ground cups his hands together and reaches into the hat. Underwater shot with fresh water fish swimming around. A pair of hands reach in and scoop water out. Kulahun brings his cupped hands out of the hat dripping with water. He looks at the water for a moment and then drinks deeply. He is refreshed and sighes in relief. He looks at the hat, then kneels down and puts his head into the hat. Kulahun's face is underwater in a beautiful stream. Colourful fish swim against the current in crystal waters. Kulahun watches as various fish swim around his head. Kulahun takes his head out of the water and we can see him through the rippling water. Credits swim into the frame in the shape of fishes. FADE TO WHITE THE END
